The connection between Climate Grief and the death of the Mammoth as a representation of wild imagination. Like the melting snow, childhood fairytales leave behind a trickle of running water.
The installation is structured like a Via Crucis (Christian rite that consists of visiting 12 steps of the crucifixion of Jesus).
Different poetry verses are positioned below found footage of my childhood. The poetry itself is repurposed from a childhood nursery rhyme I invented when I was about 10.
A clay statue of a mammoth is positioned within a freezer at the centre of the installation.
